The Truth: Medical Grade Comedy was a purposeful accident.

Three medical professionals from completely different corners of the healthcare world—who had never worked together—were united to perform comedy at a private venue. A Pharmacist, CRNA, and Radiology Tech sounds like the setup to a joke… and, as it turns out, it kind of was.

We came from different departments of the healthcare world but quickly discovered we shared something beyond our medical backgrounds: we wanted to make a difference.

We each performed our individual sets, got the laughs and applause, and then thought:

Why not keep doing this—but for our people?

And that's how Medical Grade Comedy was created!

Our goal is to bring together healthcare workers from every corner of the profession. Nurses, physicians, techs, therapists, pharmacists, CRNAs, support staff, administrators, and everyone in between. Our roles and responsibilities may look different, but we all understand the unique demands of working in healthcare.

We know the toll this work can take on your mental health. We know the long shifts, the burnout, the pressure, the compassion fatigue, and the days when you give everything you have to everyone else.

So we're here to give something back to you.

A chance to laugh. A chance to escape. A chance to bond.

Medical Grade Comedy is a comedy show by healthcare workers, for healthcare workers—because sometimes the best medicine really is laughter. And laughter with friends, family and coworkers? Now that’s good medicine!

And yes, we're here to bring some light into the darkness.

Literally.
